Basti Campaign

A basti campaign was organized to create awareness among people about the ban on child labour, beggary and child marriage. A handout was designed which gave the message that a child below the age of 14 years must not be sent for work, the legal age for marriage was given, and parents were informed that children should not be sent for begging. The handout stated that every child has the right to education and no school authority can deny admission to any child for any reason.
