CRG took the lead in formulating the Foster Care Scheme, Vatsalya, by collaborating with other NGOs and professionals. The draft, crafted through this collaborative effort, was then submitted to the Directorate of Women and Child Development. The Goa government officially notified the scheme on 11th July 2013, introducing non-institutional methods of child care. CRG played a crucial role in coordinating the drafting process and presenting the proposal to the Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD).
