The concept of Gender Champions, outlined by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in accordance with University Grants Commission guidelines, aims to foster an integrated approach to understanding gender constructs shaping experiences in society. In Goa, CRG has implemented the "Higher Secondary School Gender Champions Promoting Gender Equality" program, selecting two champions (one girl and one boy) from each high and higher secondary school. The initiative strives to empower the youth, promoting gender equality and enhancing analytical skills through the GCHSS platform, with the ultimate goal of translating these concepts into their own lives.
